The resale right was introduced effective April 1, 2006 and applies to:

Original works of art created by artists (living or up to 70 years after death), who are nationals or residents of a country affiliated with the EU or EEA or of a country granting an equal resale right.

VOF Medusa Auctioneers will recover the legally required resale right fee from the buyer and take care of the financial settlement.

The resale right fee is calculated from €3,000 on the sale price including surcharge (excluding VAT) and is composed of the following percentages:
