Some highlights from the Late Summer Auction

A five-piece silver tea set, consisting of a teapot, milk jug, tea caddy, sugar bowl, and matching spoon box. Zwolle, 1826, made by H. van Delden. Total weight: 1,610 grams.

Proceeds: 8,030.00 euros.

A finely cast bronze figure of the Green Tara (Syamatara), Beijing, Pala Revival style, 18th century.

Proceeds: 5,440.00 euros.

Bernardus Peterus "Ben" Viegers (The Hague 1886–1947 Nunspeet), Sunny Meadow with Red-and-White and Black-and-White Cattle, signed (lower left), oil on canvas.

Proceeds: 4,145.00 euros.

A flintlock cavalry pistol with a walnut stock, a round barrel, and an iron trigger guard.

Proceeds: 2,850.00 euros.

Late Summer Auction

Our Late Summer Auction took place on Monday, September 7; we can look back on a particularly successful evening.

The auction attracted an impressive number of online visitors and bidders from both home and abroad. The varied selection—including an extensive collection of silver highlighted by a comprehensive Georg Jensen cutlery set, a fine selection of bronze sculptures by artists such as Georges Charles Coudray, and a range of art, antiques, jewelry, and coins—drew considerable interest.

Estate Sales

As part of a recent auction, we auctioned off a magnificent collection from an estate in Antwerp. Among the items in this auction were:

  • A large concert grand piano by Dietmann for Knud Kaufmann
  • An outstanding wine collection, including Château Mouton Rothschild

  • A rare 17th-century goblin with mythological representation
